Overall Layout

  • Title: Identical to the title of abstract which was submitted.
  • Logo: ACCP 2018’s logo should be on the upper right-hand side and your institution’s logo should be on the upper left-hand side.

  • Author’s Names and Affiliations
  • Background
  • Aim
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions
  • Contact Details: e.g. email, phone number, website.
  • Acknowledgements: They are optional but they should appear in smaller font size

 Poster Tips:

Title: It has been shown that the title in uppercase letters takes more time to be read than in lower case letters. Thus, your title will be more easily read if it is in lower case.

Font Type: Use “Arial” font type. Use the mentioned font consistently throughout the text and don't use different font types on your poster text.

Font Size: Choose a large font size for the poster's title, author and affiliations i.e. not less than 72 points. Moreover, the font size for the text should not be less than 16 points. Posters should be easily readable from a distance of 1 or 2 meters.

Additionally, in order to facilitate reading, double-line space and justify all the text.

Figures: All figures should include brief captions/legends. It is sometimes advisable to show on the figure what is the most important using an arrow or label. Use the same font in both the text and graphics.

Pictures: Pictures of high resolution should be used in order to ensure good quality print. Be aware to use pictures without copyrights.

Other points:

  • Organize your poster with the starting point at the upper left corner and the ending part at the lower right corner.
  • You may differentiate between different sections of your poster with lines, bars or appropriate spaces in order to facilitate reading. Moreover, you may number each of the poster sections with a large number.
  • You can maximize impact of your poster by printing handouts of your poster and put it below your poster. In this way, you may enable people to contact you.

All poster presenters are themselves responsible for hanging and removing their posters in a proper manner. If presenters do not remove their poster in time, the organizing committee of the congress is not responsible for any damage that might happen to the poster if it is removed by staff members.
